How do I get there?
The venue is 20-30 mins drive from central York, with plenty of parking.
If you are travelling by taxi, pre-booking is essential, especially for the end of the night – carriages at midnight.
The number 10 bus goes from central York to Stamford Bridge in 35 mins, with a 10 minute walk from the bus stop to the venue.
Can we park overnight?
Yes. Please pick up your car by 10am the next day.
Can I wear stilettos?
The question on everyone’s lips.
You can wear stiletto heels if you like, but just be aware you will need to wear a heel cap for the Billiard Room floor. You’re probably best off wearing something comfy for dancing.
Should we bring confetti?
Don’t worry, we will provide confetti.
What’s the situation on gifts?
Please don’t feel the need to buy us anything. We are conscious that most guests will have the cost of travelling to and staying in York, so just your company on our special day is more than enough.
